A.  For 5-year junior college
1. To meet the needs of the government’s economic development, the Department trains intermediate level service and management professionals with knowledge and skills in foreign languages and management.
2. The Department nourishes students’ interest and trains their ability in further studies. It also cultivates their multi-dimensional career development and life-long learning attitudes.
3. Occupational ethics, humanistic and technological capacity and disposition, as well as ability to serve the evolving environment are emphasized.
B.  For 4-year and 2-year college
1. To meet the needs of the government’s economic development, the Department trains higher level service, management, and research professionals with knowledge and skills in foreign languages and management.
2. The Department develops students’ greater ability to continue studies and researches in professional fields, as well as to pursue life-long learning.
3. The Department also instills in students professional ethics, sense of humanity and technology, global thinking, and independent ability to serve the evolving environment.
